At just over 10% abv, St. Blackout packs a punch. The beer is slightly dry and goes down smooth. It’s not boozy at all and every easy to over consume, hence the name; St Blackout!

Two new bright tanks arrived this week. YES! Two new 30 barrel tanks. They’re 2500 lbs each, so moving, standing them up, and putting them in place is an adventure. The guys share a bit about how they went about solving their problem.

Misdirected IPA by Shades of Pale Brewing – for those people who once in a while, well, just have to get a little misdirected. Powder day tomorrow. Here you see Shades of Pale Brewer making a pit stop at one of our neighbors, 7Seven Custom Ski Shop and Tune for yes, you got it, a ski tune. Powder Day Coming.
The espresso stout just keeps getting better and better. We’ve just had a blending session and the beer is in the finishing tank. This year’s release is a collaboration with two other local artisans, Daily Rise Espresso and Millcreek Cacao. The for the coffee we’ve used a blend of premium Colombian, Sumatran and Ethiopian beans. The stout is coming in at 8% abv and finishing with the cocoa nibs. Expect a coffee forward beer with a hint of chocolate.
